Sherry joined the Canyon Creek Behavioral Health team after serving as Director of Utilization of Austin Oaks Hospital in Austin, Texas, and Cedar Crest Hospital & RTC in Belton, Texas. Sherry earned her Bachelors in Biology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and her Masters in Psychology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. While obtaining her Bachelors, she provided direct care in community group homes and Tucson Psychiatric Institute in Tucson, Arizona, before relocating to Texas. Sherry brings extensive experience with case management, acute psychiatric care, case management, and discharge planning.
